Gold prices continued their record-breaking rally in both domestic and international markets.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs2,000 on Wednesday, reaching a new all-time high of Rs350,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,725 to settle at Rs300,068, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On the international front, gold prices also hit a historic peak on Thursday. As reported by APGJSA, the global rate climbed to $3,329 per ounce—reflecting a $19 increase for the day and including a premium of $20.
Notably, on Wednesday, the per tola price of gold had already recorded a significant gain of Rs8,600, closing at Rs348,000.
In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan declined by Rs59, bringing the rate down to Rs3,401 per tola.
