Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Saturday, tracking a downward trend in the international market. In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,000 to settle at Rs452,262.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs1,715 to Rs387,741, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Friday, gold prices had surged, with the per-tola rate climbing to Rs454,262 after an increase of Rs10,700.
In the global market, gold prices slipped by $20 to $4,299 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.
Silver prices also moved lower, shedding Rs220 to stand at Rs6,464 per tola.
