Gold prices in Pakistan recorded another massive increase on Thursday, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs11,300 per tola to settle at Rs449,236.
The price of 10-gram gold also gained Rs9,688, bringing it to Rs385,147.
On Wednesday, the price of gold increased by Rs10,000 per tola to close at Rs437,936.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, gold prices dropped by Rs500 per tola to close at Rs427,936.
In the international market, gold prices gained $113 per ounce, with the global rate standing at $4,268 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also increased by Rs35 to close at Rs6,659.
