Former aviation minister and PTI leader, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, announced his decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Tuesday.
This decision came following a meeting with senior leadership of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP). The meeting included IPP chairman Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan, and Awn Chaudhry.
Earlier this year, Ghulam Sarwar Khan had announced his departure from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the aftermath of the May 9 protests.
In a video statement, Ghulam Sarwar Khan strongly denounced the violence on May 9, expressing his belief that those individuals involved in the attack on GHQ, Jinnah House, and military memorials should be held accountable and brought to justice.
Sarwar emphasized his opposition to the policy of confrontation within the party at various forums.
Additionally, former federal minister Farrukh Habib announced his departure from the party and his decision to join Jahangir Tareen’s Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
