A Texas hedge fund manager and a close associate of the Donald Trump family has indicated that Richard Grenell, an aide to President Donald Trump, “may have been misled” regarding his endorsement of the campaign for Imran Khan by a lobbying group operating in the United States.
Gentry Beach, who is currently in Islamabad leading a business delegation, expressed confidence that Grenell possesses a more nuanced understanding of the complex issues confronting Pakistanis, which may explain his cessation of tweets supporting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.
Grenell, who collaborates closely with President Trump, has removed numerous tweets that previously expressed support for Imran Khan, although two tweets remain on his account.
During an interview in Islamabad, Beach remarked, “Richard Grenell is one of the most outstanding Americans I have encountered. He accomplishes more in a week than many do in a year. He is remarkably effective, exceptionally intelligent, and humble. I hold ambassador Grenell in high regard. I believe he may have been misled regarding certain issues by specific individuals.”
Gentry Beach asserted that a lobbying group in the United States allocates between $2 to $3 million monthly “in relation to Imran Khan.”
“While I do not consider myself an expert in these matters, I am convinced that Grenell now possesses a clearer understanding of the actual evidence than he did previously. His comprehension has improved,” Gentry Beach stated.
