ISLAMABAD: Five members of a family, including a man, his wife and three children died due to gas leakage in Dhaliala village of Union Council Pahag Panwal.
According to Rescue sources, the incident reportedly occurred due to gas leakage. The family was living within the limits of Lohi Bhair police station Islamabad.
All the bodies were shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. The dead were identified as Mohammad Rafaqat, Meraj Bibi, Hasnain Ali, aged 10, Amna Rafaqat, 7, and Mohammad Ali, 6.
On January 18, Three members of a family were killed in a fire incident that occurred in a house here on Sunday, according to the police.
The incident took place in a house in a private housing society which, according to the police, claimed the lives of a couple and their son. The preliminary reports suggested that the fire broke out in the house due to gas leakage and then a short circuit.
Those killed included Omer Ihsan, Anam Omer and Ashir Omer. Police and the rescue teams reached the spot immediately after the incident was reported to them and shifted the dead bodies to a nearby hospital.
