QUETTA: Three people including two children have died as a result of the explosion in the house on Airport Road.
According to preliminary investigation, the cause of the explosion was gas leakage which claimed 3 lives including 2 children and 1 woman, and 2 people were injured.
The Chief Fire Brigade Officer in this matter said that the fire in the house had been brought under control as a result of the explosion.
The dead bodies of 2 children and 1 woman and 2 injured were shifted to Civil Hospital by Edhi Ambulance. The dead bodies have been handed over to the heirs, after the post-mortem. Eminent personalities have expressed regret over the damage caused by the explosion due to gas leakage.
According to a media report, there were 3 explosions due to gas leakage in Quetta and Kuchlak yesterday. Doctors said that 8 people were burnt and injured as a result of the blasts. Meanwhile, a 3-storey building collapsed in Multan, resulting in heavy loss of life.
