Outgoing Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has said that future wars will be won through joint strategy, as the world is changing rapidly.
According to details, while addressing a farewell ceremony held in his honour at the Joint Staff Headquarters, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza said the world is transforming swiftly, and these changes are leaving a profound impact on Pakistan’s internal and external environment.
The ceremony was attended by top military officials, senior officers, and other distinguished guests.
During his address, the CJCSC said that contemporary challenges range from hybrid warfare to traditional conflict, making it essential for the armed forces to maintain harmony, cooperation, and unity of purpose.
He added that the solidarity among the three services is not merely a desire but has become a central and indispensable requirement to counter future threats.
Armed forces equipped with modern capabilities and committed to a unified strategy are of fundamental importance for the defence of the state.
The CJCSC expressed his best wishes for all three branches of the armed forces especially the Joint Staff Headquarters saying that whatever form the future military structure takes, it must fulfill its new responsibilities with honesty and determination.
