French woman arrives in Pakistan to marry her lover from Lahore

In a rare incident, a French woman has travelled all the way to Pakistan to marry a man belonging to Lahore.

The French woman named Jaiman decided to tie the knot with Ali Raza who she met on social media. Their bond got so strong that they both decided to tie the knot with him.

According to reports, Jaiman is also set to convert to Islam before exchanging her vows with her love of life. Now with a new Islamic name, Zoya reached Pakistan along with her mother. Their intimate nikkah ceremony was held at a local court and attended by close family members and Zoya’s mother. 

There have been incidences earlier where a Canadian and an American woman came all the way to Pakistan to marry their online lovers from this part of the world.  In April 2017, an Indian woman who came to Pakistan to attend the traditional Besakhi festival married a Pakistani man and embraced Islam.
