BAJAUR: Four security personnel have been martyred in a remote control bomb blast in War Mamoond area of Bajaur district.
According to police, the bomb was planted at a roadside.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has strongly condemned the incident.
In a statement in Peshawar, he expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of four security personnel including two policemen and two FC personnel.
In a separate attack over security forces earlier in the day, a Pakistan Army soldier on Wednesday embraced martyrdom foiling the terrorists’ attack at the military post in Thall, Hangu District, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to the military’s public relations wing, the terrorists fired at the military post in Thall, Hangu District late last night (Tuesday).
The troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists who had initiated fire at the military post.
The martyred soldier was identified as Sepoy Waqas, age 26 years, resident of Mansehra who embraced Shahadat during the exchange of fire.
The security forces were conducting an area clearance to eliminate any terrorists found in the locality.
