LAHORE: Part of the recorded statement of foreign national Stroud Gabriela Robinson has surfaced in the ongoing high-profile case of alleged kidnapping, extortion, and gang rape of two foreign women in Lahore, in which Raza Dar and others are accused.
According to media reports, Robinson, a 40-year-old resident of Hondas de Las, Spain, recorded her testimony under oath before a magistrate.
She stated that her ordeal mirrored that of fellow victim Stephanie, recounting that on the first night of their stay, four armed men stormed the house, tied them up, and subjected them to violence.
According to her statement, a man dressed in black assaulted her physically, while Raza Dar entered the room demanding information about a computer and money.
Robinson said she pointed to a green bag containing the items, but the assailants continued to press both women for passwords and access. She described being struck on the head with the butt of a pistol during the interrogation.
Robinson further testified that one of the men, fluent in English, threatened them with death if they failed to provide money. Later, she was confronted by three more men, including an older individual armed with a rifle, who ordered others to guard her.
She recounted repeated demands for sex, which she refused, before being taken upstairs by the man in black, stripped, slapped, and raped multiple times.
Her statement adds harrowing detail to the case, which has already drawn international attention. Earlier, Lahore police produced Raza Dar and four co-accused — Hassan Raza, Sikandar Khan, and Sajid Ali — before Judicial Magistrate Azhar Mahmood at Cantt Kachary. The court granted their physical remand until July 8 for interrogation, following prosecution arguments that the incident had brought disrepute to the country and required thorough investigation.
