The Pakistani rupee posted a marginal gain against the US dollar in the interbank market on Friday.
By the close of trading, the local currency settled at 279.75, appreciating by Rs0.01 compared to the previous session. On Thursday, the rupee had ended at 279.87.
In the open market, the rupee was trading at 282.45.
