The Pakistani rupee edged slightly higher against the US dollar on Monday, posting a marginal 0.01% appreciation in the interbank market.
By the close of trading, the currency settled at 279.92 per dollar, strengthening by Rs0.03, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
In the open market, the rupee gained Rs0.05 282.7.
