The Pakistani rupee edged higher against the US dollar in interbank trading on Tuesday.
By the close of the session, the local currency settled at 280.00 per dollar, marking a modest gain of Rs0.01. A day earlier, on Monday, the rupee had finished at 280.01.
In the open market, the rupee decreased by Rs.0.05 to close at 282.7.
