ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has met his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi, during which they had a lively discussion on the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Indonesia.
In his message on Twitter, the foreign minister expressed his happiness at the meeting with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi and said that during the meeting with the foreign minister of the brotherly country Indonesia, they discussed wide issues of mutual interest.

In a Twitter message, FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that a consensus was reached between the two foreign ministers on measures to promote bilateral relations, continuous meetings, and mutual relations. “We are committed to working on various issues including strengthening women’s rights,” he said.

It should be noted that 59-year-old Retno Marsudi, who has held the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2014, is the first female foreign minister of her country. On the other hand, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the youngest foreign minister of Pakistan who got this position after the loss of power of Imran Khan as the prime minister and Shah Mehmood Qureshi leaving the post of foreign minister and joining the coalition government with PPP as chairman.
