DERA GHAZI KHAN: The first women-exclusive NADRA registration center in South Punjab has been inaugurated, marking a significant step toward empowering women through easier access to national identity services.
The inauguration was led by the Director General of NADRA Multan Region.
The newly established Women Registration Center provides a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment where women can obtain, renew, or update their national identity documents without hesitation.
According to NADRA, the initiative aims to empower rural and urban women by ensuring easy access to identification services in a women-friendly setting. Thousands of women from Dera Ghazi Khan and surrounding areas are expected to benefit from the facility.
Officials stated that the center is staffed entirely by female employees, ensuring privacy, respect, and convenience for visitors.
All standard NADRA services — including new CNIC issuance, renewal, correction, biometric verification, and form attestation — will be available at the facility.
The establishment of this center represents not only an important step toward increasing women’s participation in the national registration system, but also a broader effort to promote social inclusion and empowerment in the region.
