In view of the economic, cultural, historical and social importance of the Indus River, the Friedrich Neumann Foundation, in collaboration with the German Embassy, has made a historical documentary film on the Indus River in forty-five days, the ceremony of which was held in a local hotel. The production of this film also includes the cooperation of the Pakistan Navy and Serena Hotel.
In this documentary, the importance of the Indus River and the problems of the people living around it have been beautifully highlighted. The participants of the event took great interest in the film and appreciated the effort.
Filmmaker of this important documentary, Wajahat Malik, who participated in the event, told MM News about the interesting and beautiful experiences of making the film during a special conversation. He said that they started the shooting of the film on the Line of Control from where the Indus River enters Pakistan.
Wajahat Malik said that it was an adventurous challenge, no one in history has covered the Indus River in this way to date, this honor was achieved by us. Its purpose is to highlight the importance of the Indus River in terms of tourism and human population. And it was to highlight the problems of people and nations associated with it. He said that this film will provide information about important facts about the Indus River, Sindh River Hai To Hum Hai, this film will be presented to the audience soon after editing.
