A district and sessions court in Islamabad on Saturday adjourned until March 24 the hearing of a case filed against 25 students who wanted to settle in United Kingdom on fake and forged visas, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) produced all the 25 arrested students in the court of Judicial Magistrate Ahmad Shehzad Gondal. During the hearing bail petitions were filed on behalf of arrested students.
The court ordered to send all the arrested students to jail on 14 days judicial remand. These students were accused of going abroad on tempered passports.
After hearing of arguments from both sides, the court issued notices to relevant parties and ordered lawyers to submit their arguments on next date of hearing.
It is necessary to mention here that FIA filed a case in court against these 25 students for going abroad on tempered passport and fake visas.
On March 19, 2025 during hearing of the case, the court was informed that a request was made to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the British High Commission against the accused.
On the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the FIA took action against the accused, sources said.
The accused were presented in the court of Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shehzad Gondal.
The accused’s lawyers complain about FIA officers in the court saying that they have caught the innocent students while the real forgery was done by the agent but not all FIA officers catch those agents.
