England’s cricket team to visit Pakistan soon: British HC
MANCHESTER: British High Commissioner (HC) Dr. Christian Turner has assured that the England Cricket Team will visit Pakistan soon to play a series.
Addressing a press conference in Manchester, Dr. Christian Turner said that the security situation of Pakistan has improved which is a positive sign for the country.
He also announced that the Mayor of Manchester will visit Pakistan next year and will be accompanied by high-level delegation to review the security situation.
He asserted that Pakistan is at the third spot in terms of trade with British, adding that currently, the trade volume between Pakistan and UK stands at 3.3 trillion pounds.
The High Commission also vowed to double the trade volume with Pakistan.
The High Commission said, “We will explore the potential of investments in such areas as clean energy, combating climate change, health, education and tourism sectors in Pakistan.”
