Market timings in Lahore have been relaxed until 1 June, with the earlier restriction requiring markets to close at 8pm now lifted.
The decision was announced by Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Captain (R) Ali Anan Qamar, who said the relaxation would come into effect immediately.
According to the district administration, the move will allow markets to remain open beyond 8pm, providing relief to both traders and the public.
Officials said the decision was aimed at supporting commercial activity while also offering greater convenience for citizens during evening shopping hours.
The administration added that facilitating the business community remains a priority, and the temporary easing of restrictions is intended to strengthen economic activity across the city.
