KARACHI: The educational institutes will reopen tomorrow in Karachi.
The Sindh education department on Thursday announced that all private and government schools and colleges in the province would remain closed for two more days on Friday (Aug 26) and Saturday (Aug 27) due to the flood situation and rain emergency.
The announcement of the Sindh Education department said that the educational institutions will remain closed in the most affected areas of the province, and the district administration may decide to close schools after seeing the situation in the area.

In a statement, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah had said that several districts in the province were facing floods because of which most of the schools and colleges had been submerged with rainwater.
Earlier, the government had closed schools and colleges on Aug 24 and Aug 25 after heavy rains and floods wreaked havoc in the province.
