LAHORE: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Asad Umar has alleged that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is no more impartial and instead, has become political party.

He urged upon the CEC not to become part of conspiracy aimed at abrogating the constitution. He said the constitution has clearly set 90 days time limit to hold elections if the assembly is dissolved before completing its tenure.
He said said an organized campaign was being run against the judiciary, because the opponents feared that the judiciary wasn’t bowing down to their pressure.
He revealed that the present rulers were trying to hide behind the ordinance (regarding mini buget) but President failed their plan, adding that if IMF had struck deal with Imran Khan, whom they (rulers) had been dealing with for last 10 months.
Speaking on this occasion, former speaker Punjab Assembly said PTI was going to write to President, requesting him to take action against Governor for violating the constitution. He said PTI had majority in Punjab Assembly, and it decided at its own to dissolve the same. He alleged that the caretaker government (in Punjab) was doing everything except for the job it had been mandated by the constitution.
