The story of Dobara highlights the social issues faced by a woman after getting married to a man younger than her. The plot is a challenging one as it addresses the taboos of society.
The drama story revolves around the life of a woman named Mehru, played by Hadiqa Kiani who belongs to a rich family and falls in love with a young boy Maahir, played by Bilal Abbas. Mehru has one daughter and one son.
Dobara’s story is not only unique and diverse but also revolves around acceptance of difference, tangled relationships, cultural expectations, and societal so-called standards, and norms.
