ISLAMABAD: While citing reliable sources, senior TV anchor Javed Chaudhry has revealed, that during voting on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly on Sunday, a dire ruckus could occur in the lower house of the parliament, which could also claim the life of any lawmakers
In his tv show, the anchor further said that there was a great possibility of an attack on the members of the opposition in the house by the PTI lawmakers. “The uproar will be started by chanting slogans against dissident PTI lawmakers as well as against opposition MNAs, which will gradually increase and can turn into a dangerous situation,” he added.
He said that in the light of the evidence, action could be taken against some members and the government would try to prevent voting on the no-trust motion.
Chaudhry said that after a thorough investigation, the government was informed through a report that there was no conspiracy by the United States regarding the no-confidence motion, no threat was given to Pakistan and no money came from outside for the no-trust motion.
He said that in the light of the investigation, none of the members of the opposition is a traitor nor were they Mir Jafar or Mir Sadiq as no one has given or received money for supporting the no-confidence motion.
He said that in the report it has been advised to the government not to name the USA without any reason as this act of the government can harm the relationship between the USA and Pakistan.
It is worth mentioning here that another senior journalist Hamid Mir has also claimed that the government has decided to incite violence in the capital city ahead of voting on the no-trust motion on Sunday.
