ISLAMABAD: Talha Khan, who is deaf and mute, has become an inspiration for many others by selling homemade biryani at I-8 Markaz in the federal capital.
The most interesting thing about his startup is that not only he, but all of his crew members are also deaf. They defied the odds and established a business named “Fresh and Frozen.”
Using gestures, Talha Khan told MM News that he was inspired by the LUMS graduate who was also selling homemade biryani to meet his needs. According to Talha Khan, he presented this idea to his mother, who immediately agreed and encouraged him.
Talha’s “Fresh n Frozen” company has a strong motto of providing quality, flavour, and hygiene all at once. They prepare the meals in the hopes of receiving people’s support, compassion, and love in exchange for their hard labour, allowing them to earn enough money to live a decent and independent life.
He sells the biryani in the back of their personal car. The customers always praise the taste and hygiene the crew members keep. Talha sells biryani at Rs160 (small packet) and Rs260 (large packet).
Talking to MM News, a customer said that Talha Khan’s biryani is very tasty with fresh chicken and high-quality rice. People from different areas of Islamabad are heading towards this fantastic joint to enjoy delicious homemade biryani.
