On the auspicious month of Ramzan, cast members of the drama serial ‘Chand Tara’ was seen hosting an iftar party.
However, the flexing and promotion of Indian cuisine weren’t appreciated by the fans and they were of the view that they could have served Pakistani dishes instead of this authentic South Indian food.
One social media user wrote: ‘What are they showing??? Is it our culture? Also, women are sitting uncovered, eating in the Indian style Thalis.’

Almost everyone was angry after seeing the iftar served in a pure Indian style. One Instagram user wrote; ‘Why they are having iftar party in Hindu style? Totally two opposite things and please don’t make it a cultural thing, it is purely a religious thing and it cannot be the same as others. Stop showing this nonsense on tv.’

Chand Tara is a drama 2023 which stars Ayeza Khan amd Danish Taimoor in the leading role.
Under the banner of MD Production, the drama has been written by Saima Akram Chaudhry and directed by Danish Nawaz. The first episode of Chand Tara aired on March 23 and will continue till the end of Ramzan.
