Netflix has reportedly acquired the streaming rights for both parts of the film Dhurandhar for a massive sum of ₹130 crore (approximately USD 15.6 million).
This is one of the most lucrative deals for a single Bollywood title in recent times and the largest OTT deal of actor Ranveer Singh’s career.
The deal covers the streaming rights for both Dhurandhar Part 1 and the upcoming Dhurandhar Part 2 (scheduled for release in March 2026).
This is a major deal, especially noted in an industry climate where OTT acquisition prices had reportedly crashed.
Dhurandhar Part 1 is expected to start streaming on Netflix around January 30, 2026, approximately eight weeks after its December 5, 2025, theatrical release.
The specific release date has not been officially confirmed by the filmmakers, but multiple reports cite this tentative date.
The substantial nature of the deal highlights the immense box office success of the film and high anticipation for its digital premiere, as Netflix plans to give it a significant international push.
