The first teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 was released late on Wednesday, primarily focusing on the reunion of the lead characters, Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly and Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs.
The short, 51-second teaser is set to Madonna’s iconic 1990 hit song, “Vogue.”
The clip opens with a focus on a pair of red Valentino high heels as they click across an office floor, establishing the return to the fashion world.
The scene builds to Miranda Priestly (Streep) stepping into an elevator. Just before the doors close, Andy Sachs (Hathaway) forces them open and enters.
Andy simply says, “Miranda,” to which Miranda delivers the classic, deadpan response: “Took you long enough.” Andy then puts on her own pair of designer sunglasses, hinting at her transformation into a more formidable fashion insider.

While the teaser only explicitly shows Streep and Hathaway, it confirms the return of other original cast members, including Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling.
The teaser confirms the sequel will be released in theaters on May 1, 2026.
The plot is expected to center on Miranda navigating the decline of traditional print media and facing off against Emily Charlton, who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars Miranda needs.
