CTD arrests five banned outfit terrorists in Rajanpur

RAJANPUR: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab apprehended five terrorists affiliated with a banned outfit, in its operation in the Rajanpur area Punjab on Wednesday.
According to the spokesman of CTD, on an intelligence report, the personnel conducted a targeted operation in the Rojhan area and apprehend the terrorists associated with the Baloch Republican Army (BRA), a banned outfit.
The spokesman further stated the terrorists were planning to attack the law enforcers near Rojhan area. the spokesman added that the CTD personnel have recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition including a 07 kilogram explosive from the arrested accused.
The alleged terrorists were identified as Atal Khan, Baghi Khan, Wazir Khan, Per Muhammad, and Bilawal Khan. The arrested terrorists were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
Separately, a terrorist was killed by security forces during an operation in the Jani Khel area of Bannu on Wednesday. Security forces said the terrorist identified as Qari Imran was a member of the Commander Saddar Hayat Group.
