KARACHI: A man and his wife were stabbed to death in a house in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Latif area in what police described as an act of so-called honour killing.
According to the police, the couple — Mir Hassan, and Shabana — got married as per their free will and shifted to Awami Colony in Gulshan-e-Latif area.
The police have shifted the bodies to the Jinnah hospital for the autopsy. Police sources informed that the bodies appear to be 3 to 4 days old.
Earlier on August 1, four people including two women were murdered in alleged honour killing in Karachi. In Mangho Pir’s Ghazi Goth area, the man killed his sister and a relative over suspicion of their affair.
On the other hand, police found dead bodies of a man and a woman near Café Kinara Hotel in Korangi. Police officials suspected that it was a case of honour killing.
