Lahore: In a shocking incident, a husband and wife were found dead in their home located in Ahmed Park, in the Data Darbar area of Lahore. The couple, identified as 38-year-old Azad Hussain and 35-year-old Pakeeza, reportedly died under mysterious circumstances.
Edhi spokesperson told media that initial investigations suggested suffocation might be the cause of death; however, a comprehensive investigation was ongoing to confirm the details.
The couple leaves behind two children, 8-year-old Khizr Abbas and 6-year-old Har Abbas, who were found safe and are currently under the care of relatives.
Local authorities, meanwhile, have initiated action with police and investigation agencies examining all aspects of the case. Following the forensic team’s preliminary assessment, the bodies have been transported to the mortuary by Edhi volunteers for further examination.
