Coronavirus patient dies in Bahwalpur
BAHAWALPUR: A coronavirus patient here on Sunday died at Civil Hospital Bahawalpur.
According to Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Asif Iqbal Chaudhry, a 65-year-old corona patient, Ahmad Hasan was admitted to Civil Hospital died on Sunday, after his coronavirus test came positive two days ago.
The Commissioner said the patient had returned from Saudia Arabia after performing Umrah, adding that the wife and granddaughter of deceased have been quarantined at their home.
According to the National Command and Control Centre, the death toll related to coronavirus has reached 45, while at least 171 patients have fully recovered.
Punjab remained the worst affected province in the country from the novel coronavirus with 1163 cases, followed by Sindh province that has 840 confirmed cases. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 372 cases followed by 206 and 185 cases in Gilgil Baltistan and Balochistan respectively.
