LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif has said that the growing number of the coronavirus patients in Punjab was alarming.
Shehbaz Sharif said efficient steps would be taken to tackle the alarming situation of the province. He said that if the situation could not be handled, then we would be at risk of irreversible harm. We could fight and win this war together united, he added.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, at this time there a need to unite the nation instead of division. He said doctors and medical experts have taken up the duty of saving the life of the nation.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif said that a complete lockdown in Punjab was necessary due to the coronavirus. He also issued a plan to supply food and medicine during the lockdown.
The PML-N leader said that food and medicines should be provided from utility stores across the country, while telephone lines and mobile app should be used to place orders from urban homes, while post offices, NLC staff and vehicles could also be used during a lockdown.
