LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar is scheduled to arrive in Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan today to visit the Quarantina centres.
The visit of Usman Bazdar in Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan is to review the coronavirus’ arrangements.
The chief minister will also visit the coronavirus centre and also brief the media today. The number of people infected with coronavirus has increased to 245 in the country while four patients have recovered.
Usman Buzdar earlier on Wednesday claimed that the cause of death for a person who passed away at Mayo Hospital in Lahore was not coronavirus. He further confirmed that so far Punjab has reported 8 cases of coronavirus and was being provided the best available treatment.
100 cases have been reported in Sindh, 26 cases from Punjab, 16 from Balochistan, 16 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and three cases from Gilgit-Baltistan.
In this regard, the restaurants and shopping malls across Sindh will be closed for fifteen days. Sea-view, and parks, will also be closed, government offices and inter-city bus service will also be closed from today. However, vegetable shops and utility stores will remain open.
