Karachi is currently experiencing cold and dry weather, with light fog observed in the mornings and evenings, according to the Met Office on Thursday.
The city continues to be under the grip of a cold wave, with meteorologists predicting further temperature drops throughout the week. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that the minimum temperature recorded in Karachi last night was 11.9°C.
According to a report by ARY News, the Met Office also forecasted a daytime temperature of around 27°C today. Earlier, the PMD had predicted that nighttime temperatures would remain between 10°C and 12°C until January 19.
The humidity level in Karachi is at 71%, with winds blowing at a speed of 3 km/h from the northeast. Meanwhile, cold and dry conditions are expected to continue across most districts of Sindh over the next 24 hours.
Fog is likely to affect the morning and night hours in districts like Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Dadu, Larkana, Khairpur, and Tando, as well as surrounding areas, with medium to dense fog conditions.
