Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has refuted claims made by the former ruling party regarding the receipt of any letters.
“I have not received any letters, and should any arrive, I will not read them,” he stated during an informal discussion with journalists at a luncheon in honor of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad on Thursday.
“Should a letter come, I would pass it on to the prime minister. The talk of letters is simply a tactic,” he added.
He further emphasized that the nation is “making significant progress, moving forward, and must continue to do so.”

On Wednesday, Faisal Chaudhry informed reporters outside Adiala Jail that Khan’s forthcoming letter would detail six essential points.
