LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has tested negative for the novel coronavirus on Wednesday.
Usman Buzdar in a statement said that he has recuperated from the deadly coronavirus, adding that his latest test for COVID-19 has returned negative.“Due to the grace of Allah Almighty and the prayers of people, I have recuperated from the COVID-19,” the chief minister added.
He urged the masses to wear masks and adopt all the SOPs standard operating procedure (SOP) to keep themselves safe from the deadly virus.

It is pertinent to mention here that Usman Buzdar had tested positive for the novel coronavirus on 21 of December 2020. He had undergone a test for COVID-19 and the results came out positive that day. He had quarantined himself at home after testing positive for the infection.
The coronavirus claimed 52 more lives in the country during the past 24 hours, lifting the countrywide death toll from the disease to 10,461.
According to the latest update shared by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), as many as 2,118 more people tested positive for the infection during this period, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 492,694.
There are a total of 37,740 active cases of the coronavirus while the number of recovered patients stands at 444,360. Over 2,000 patients are under treatment in critical condition.
