Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz conducted the draw for 720 newly constructed flats designated for homeless industrial workers.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the draw by pressing a button and congratulated the successful industrial workers.
Following her directive, the winners will now become owners of their newly built homes.
Maryam Nawaz instructed that widows and specially-abled individuals be given flats through a separate allocation. She further directed that an additional 1,872 flats for industrial workers be completed within the next 18 months.
At Quaid-e-Azam Business Park in Sheikhupura, the CM also ordered the completion of a bachelor hostel for 700 workers within three months. To facilitate specially-abled industrial workers, she directed that flats be provided on the ground floor.
In a personal gesture, Maryam Nawaz called industrial worker Nadeem Tahir to congratulate him, advising him to keep his parents close, acknowledging that their prayers contributed to his success in the draw.
