CM Buzdar thanks PM for merging Punjab’s relief initiative with Ehsaas Program

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for merging the provincial relief program with Centre’s Ehsas Program to facilitate poor families during coronavirus lockdown.
On a social media website Tweeter, the CM thanked PM Khan for accepting his suggestion to merge the provincial relief program with Centre’s Ehsas Program.
The chief minister said as many as 2.5 million poor families effected by the COVID-19 lockdown will now get Rs 12,000 aid each instead of Rs 4,000.
CM added, “We are taking more steps to facilitate daily wagers,” he wrote, adding that the provincial government is providing ration to people in areas which have been sealed due to the COVID-19.

The provincial government has urged public to get the needy persons living around them to register with the Insaf Imdad Program.
