China invites Pakistanis for MTCSOL 2026 admissions

PKU Shenzhen has opened MTCSOL 2026 admissions for international students, offering a full-time master’s degree focused on Chinese language teaching.

Applications are now open for the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School for the 2026 intake. The program is designed for international students aiming to build careers in Chinese language education and cross-cultural communication.

The MTCSOL program is a full-time, Chinese-taught master’s degree with a duration of two years. It follows Peking University’s integrated training model, combining theory with practical teaching skills.

The program is offered at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, located at the Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School campus. Shenzhen is known as China’s innovation hub, providing students with modern academic and cultural exposure.

The application period runs from December 26, 2025 to March 31, 2026. Classes are scheduled to begin in August 2026. The application fee for each program is 800 RMB.

Applicants must meet the language requirement of HSK 6 with a minimum score of 210 and a writing score of at least 65. The language of instruction for the program is Chinese.

Several scholarship opportunities are also available. These include the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship, the Guangdong Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students in Guangdong, and the Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School Special Scholarship for International Students.

This program offers a strong academic path for international students. Studying in Shenzhen adds global exposure. Scholarships make the opportunity more accessible.
