Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has stated that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared and committed to counter internal and external challenges, extremist ideologies, and divisive forces that undermine national stability.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir recently visited the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons. According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he was briefed on the formation’s operational readiness and the key measures taken to enhance combat capabilities.
The ISPR further stated that the Field Marshal observed field training exercises and modern simulator training facilities, and he appreciated the high professional standards and overall preparedness of the formation.
Emphasizing the importance of technological integration, the Field Marshal highlighted that in today’s modern warfare environment, staying informed and making timely decisions is indispensable.
He also interacted with officers and soldiers, commending their high morale and unwavering dedication to national security.
Field Marshal Munir stressed the importance of rigorous, goal-oriented training.
Upon his arrival in Gujranwala, the COAS and Chief of Defence Forces were received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
