Caretaker CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi directs investigation into alleged killing of PTI worker
LAHORE: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has directed an investigation into the alleged murder of a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf worker.
According to the details, PTI activist Ali Bilal was allegedly killed yesterday during a rally called to express solidarity with the judiciary. The Punjab government has ordered an investigation.
Yesterday, former Minister of State for Information Farrukh Habib accused the implementation of Section 144 in Lahore and the death of one worker during the alleged torture and roundup of PTI workers by the police.

The deceased worker was identified as Ali Bilal. According to Services Hospital, Ali Bilal was injured due to head and nose injuries. The cause of death has not yet been determined, nor have the facts about the killing been revealed.
According to the statement of Mohsin Naqvi, a private vehicle left the deceased worker at the hospital. The occupants of the vehicle are being searched with the help of Safe City cameras. He termed the allegation of police brutality as a deliberate lie.
