Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has announced his intention to take legal action against the nationwide suspension of mobile phone services on polling day today.
“Mobile phone services must be restored immediately across the country,” he stated in a post on X on Thursday.” I have asked my party to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and courts in this regard, he added.
This decision follows the caretaker government’s choice to temporarily suspend mobile phone services just moments before voting commenced on Thursday.
