In a bizarre incident, two bandits looted around 80 liters of petrol from an oil tanker and fled after also snatching cash from the crew in Sargodha, police said.
According to police, the incident occurred near Kot Naje when an oil tanker travelling from Qaidabad suffered a tyre burst.
The tanker crew had stopped on the roadside and were busy replacing the damaged tyre.

During this time, two armed men arrived at the spot and held the crew at gunpoint. The suspects siphoned around 80 liters of petrol from the tanker and also took away cash from the crew members before fleeing the scene.
Police said a case has been registered against the unidentified suspects and a search operation has been launched to arrest them.
