QUETTA: Two more people have died due to rains and floods in Balochistan, taking the death toll to 166.
The ongoing monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in Balochistan for the last two months. So far, 166 people have died and 75 people have been injured due to the rains. According to the PDMA officials, a total of 15,337 houses have been damaged across the province due to the rains.
Around 23, 013 cattle have been killed by the rains. Crops standing on two lakh acres of land have also been damaged. According to PDMA officials, relief activities are going on in different areas of Balochistan.

In Balochistan, areas including Zhob, Ziarat, Musakhail, Qila Abdullah, and Pishin are likely to receive more rains with gusty winds and thunderstorms. Similarly, rain with thunderstorms is likely in areas including Barkhan, Loralai, Kohlu, Quetta, Sibi, and Chaman.
On other hand, the weather in Sindh will remain hot and humid, according to the Meteorological Department.Areas including Karachi, Thatta, Mithi, and suburbs may get rain with strong winds and thunderstorms.
