Australia delivered a dominant all-round performance to defeat Ireland by 67 runs in the 14th match of the T20 World Cup.
Chasing a target of 183 runs, Ireland was bowled out for 115 in 16.5 overs. George Dockrell fought hard with a 41-run knock, while Lorcan Tucker added 21 runs. Captain Paul Stirling retired hurt after scoring just one run, dealing an early blow to Ireland’s chase.
Australia’s bowlers were in destructive form, with Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa claiming four wickets each. Matthew Kuhnemann chipped in with one wicket to wrap up the innings.

Earlier, Australia posted 182 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs after opting to bat first. Marcus Stoinis played an aggressive innings of 45 off 29 balls, while Matt Renshaw and Josh Inglis contributed 37 runs each to strengthen the total. Cameron Green added 21 runs, whereas Glenn Maxwell was dismissed for 9.
Opener Travis Head was run out for 6, and Cooper Connolly remained unbeaten on 11.
For Ireland, Mark Adair picked up two wickets, while George Dockrell and Harry Tector took one apiece.
