KASUR: At least 30 people have been wounded when the roof of a house collapsed in the village Rao Khanwala, including women and children.
According to details, scores of people were attending a Chehlum ceremony at a house located in village Rao Khanwala, when the roof caved in, burying the people under the debris.
Rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved 30 injured from the rubble and shifted them to District Headquarters Hospital. At least 10 seriously injured persons were later shifted to General Hospital in Lahore.
Moreover, the Rapid Response Force (RRF) of the Sindh Police conducted a combing operation in the Memon Goth area of Malir district and arrested six criminals.
