A prediction has emerged regarding the length of the holy month of Ramadan, indicating whether it will last 29 or 30 days this year.
Astronomer Faheem Hashmi has predicted that Ramadan this year will consist of 30 days. According to a report by Samaa TV, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to fall on Saturday, 21 March.
The astronomer said the moon will be born at 6:23am on Thursday, 19 March. At sunset in Karachi, the moon’s age will be only 12 hours and 19 minutes.

He added that at sunset the moon’s age will be 11 hours and 55 minutes in Islamabad and 12 hours and 1 minute in Peshawar.
Hashmi explained that a moon younger than 20 hours is generally not visible to the naked eye.
