Assets Case: NAB presents Khursheed Shah in Court today

NAB produces Khurshid Shah in court in assets case
SUKKUR: Pakistan People Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah was presented by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday before an accountability court in assets beyond income case.
Khursheed Shah was presented in the NAB court in Sukkur under strict security measures, roads coming to the court were also blocked by placing containers. The accountability bureau team will seek his physical remand to initiate a probe into the matter.

However, a large number of PPP workers were outside the court, to show solidarity with the arrested party leader. Shah was arrested in asset beyond means case on 18th September and was shifted to Sukkur by NAB on Friday.
Earlier, the PPP leader was shifted to the Federal Government Services Hospital, also known as Polyclinic, after he complained of some health issues. He was discharged from the hospital in the evening and driven to the airport.
Talking to reporters at the hospital, Shah rejected the NAB claim that he was involved in Rs500 billion corruption and said that he was ready to hand over all of his wealth to the bureau if even one percent of this amount was proved to have been given to him illegally.
According to the NAB, Khursheed Shah had made properties in Sukkur, Rohri, and Karachi and furthermore, it was revealed that Glamour Bungalow, Junejo Flour Mills, Mukesh Flour Mills including 83 other properties were also made under Shah’s frontman, Pehlaj Rai.
