At the ongoing Asian Junior Squash Championship 2025 in Korea, Pakistan’s young squash players displayed outstanding performances, leaving behind India and other countries. The national team won a total of two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, establishing their dominance at the Asian level.
In the boys’ under-13 final, Pakistan’s Suhail Adnan delivered an impressive performance, defeating India’s Ayaan Dhanuka. Suhail won the match by three games to one.
In the under-15 category, Nauman Khan defeated his compatriot Ahmed Rayan Khalil to claim the title. In the final, Nauman secured victory with scores of 12-10, 11-6, and 11-2. The performance of both these youngsters has become a sign of Pakistan’s bright future.
In the girls’ under-13 final, Pakistan’s Mahnoor Ali played excellently but was narrowly defeated in a thrilling five-set match against China’s Yan Zhiyuan. The scores were 9-11, 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, and 10-12.
Pakistan won two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal in the main event, and also secured two titles in the plate division, thus proving the national team’s superiority in Asia with a total of seven medals.
Players, coaches, and the squash federation are being congratulated on this remarkable success, while the nation takes pride in the talents of these young heroes.
